Subhumans
Friday 2nd March 2012Subhumans are a legendary English punk band formed in the Warminster and Melksham area of Wiltshire in 1980. The band's musical style is typically classified as hardcore punk or anarcho-punk. They have been through various morphs and are an amalgamation of two other well-known hardcore bands - Citizen Fish and Culture Shock.

SUPERGRASS's bass-player-extraordinaire, Mick Quinn, brings his new DB Band to Buckley. If you were/are a fan of the late, great Supergrass, Mick has maintained a clearly audible undertone of 'grass DNA for all to enjoy, although it's fair to say this highly melodically-skilled three piece are slightly less-poppy and a tad more rocky, and certainly not to be missed! Support comes from unlikely local heroes The Peace Creatures and the inimitable Cal Roberts & the Ill Gotten Gains.

Saturday 14th April 2012Cheeky, scouse outfit whose quirky, uplifting brand of indie-pop has produced many smiles, as well as some irresistable tunes ('Neighbourhood', 'Female Of The Species', 'Me And You Vs The World'). Record company wrangles led to them being silent at the start of the new millenium, but in 2012 Space are back with a vengeance, releasing new album 'Attack Of The 50ft Kebab'! Friday 4th May 2012Formed in the mid-80s by former youth worker Peter Hooton, these scouse 90's groovsters were best known for their baggy anthemic hit 'All Together Now', first released in 1990 and reissued as the official England European Championships single in 2004, they're still getting on the Groovy Train today. Playing all the hits from their much-celebrated 90's album 'Spartacus', we welcome The Farm back to the Tivoli stage. More info to follow.

His incredible tales of a past you couldn't even begin to imagine, were totally spell-binding and very funny to boot. Fear not, he returns to us to share even more fascinating and jaw-dropping stories of a master devious mind!

Les McKeown's Legendary Bay City Rollers
Friday 25th May 2012The Rollers' first hit single Remember reached No. 6 in the UK charts in 1973; that was quickly followed by Shang-A-Lang, Summerlove Sensation and All Of Me Loves All Of You all hitting the Top 5. Bye Bye Baby was their first UK No. 1 in May 1975 followed by Give A Little Love in July. Their first album, Rollin', was the first debut album to top the charts. Between 1975 and 1978, they toured all over the world and played to sold out crowds in the across the world. Les McKeown put together a new band of talented musicians in the early 90s and today audiences are treated to all the old BCR hits reworked for the new millennium, alongside exciting new material. Roll back the years and hear them live, here at the Tivoli.

Date to be re-scheduled (in 2012, watch this space)There's not many bands that have the respect of EVERYONE on the punk scene. But Charlie Harpers UK SUBS is that exception. Formed in 1976, the mainstay of the band has been vocalist Charlie Harper, originally a singer in Britain's R&B scene (now venerated as the godfather of UK punk) the band has continued and thrived. 2010 marked the fifth decade in which the U.K. Subs had continually graced the Punk Rock scene, widely recognised as one of the most consistently and visibly successful punk bands - they maintain and pioneer the true spirit of punk rock, without the compromise and watering-down that has affected so many of their contemporaries.
